There really is no such thing as a completely original style, everyone is emulating something/someone, that's how you learn. And tbh looking at and emulating other people's art styles has helped me understand how certain anatomical bits work much better than referencing photos and such. Sometimes it takes seeing and emulating something stylized and exaggerated a certain way to be like 'ohhh so that's how it works'

Like I'm not for tracing and stealing don't do that, but for real styles are meant to be played around with emulated. And if you say you've never copied or emulated a style then you are A LIARPANTS
if no one was allowed to emulate and play around with one another's artstyles then no one would grow as an artist it find their own style. Bc that's how you find your own style, you fiddle with what you like and if you like an aspect of someone else's style then go for it. Draw teeth that way or add cute spiky eyelashes or make it mega chibi and soft. Mix and match, grow as an artist.
